Morning all of you beautiful people.
Okay, I said I wouldn't do I, but I'm going to.
The time has come to dust off your Copa's, clean your £23 imitation predator astros and start your fit(fat)ness regime.
The 2016 WHO 5-A-SIDE will take play on Saturday 23rd July at Playfootball in Romford - same as last year.
Teams need to be between 6-8 people. £10 per head.
Aiming to kick off something around 11ish, maybe slightly earlier. I think last year finished about half 2.
As W4 and Mr Strugs will tell you, the bar is open throughout.
The just giving link will be open and as always the proceeds will goto the Bobby Moore fund.
Possibility of a small shindig after if there's the interest.
Please can you reply if you will be taking part, just giving link to come shortly.

Sadly Queen Mary Old Boys 2nd V won't be there to defend their trophy as I'm away that weekend.
Will get the trophy engraved and returned and make a donation to the fund.

I reckon DEPORTIVO WANKA'S will be back again this year.
Will have a word with the chaps and confirm.
Was a great laugh last year and the upside to going out of the comptiton early was that the bar was empty and we were served in no time.

Good luck with this. No hard feelings from me either and well done Honest for doing it once again. Playing football and for a good cause, a win win.
Maybe me and ph can rustle up a team of "spares" off WHO, can't come otherwise as will get frustrated again.

I played in this when it was Southend, was a good laugh.
Not sure if I'll be around for this. If I am, I'll also need a team to play on.

I'd really like to get at least 12 teams this year.

I acknowledged that is difficult to deal with "spares" and give them game time, and it isn't really the organisers' job to sort it, and I still acknowledge it.
Therefore, if I can't commit early enough to be on a team, I probably will end up in the same situation as last year.
Bearing that in mind is not holding a grudge, it's being realistic.

If people want to play then set up a team and play.
Always loads of big talk about it but not many put their money where their mouth is.
